Hullo again, lovelies.
Here. as promised, are the other plum picks from my selection of “Wearable Victorian Style”, previewed yesterday.
They remain hidden until an item sells in the main part of the Treasury, but I felt you just had to see them, as they also help highlight how taking a vintage (or vintage-inspired) item can be a springboard to your entire outfit… but dress the main feature down, if you’re unsure how to wear it – by teaming it with jeans or a cute flippy skirt, opaque tights and stompy boots.
This cute Tam can also be worn as a beret or a cloche style and comes in a variety of other colours – just ask the seller as she custom makes each one for you.
Now, here’s a lady who knows exactly how to wear a vintage piece (actually from the 1970’s, during that period of fascination for the romantic late Victorian/Edwardian eras) and keep it looking fresh & modern. So pretty!
This charcoal plaid tote bag has just the right amount of vintage elements (a subtle vintage-style fabric and restrained ruffle) combined with a cute modern shape to make it super-usable for everyday.
Vintage Victorian buttons make up this whimsical & unique bracelet – a really lovely idea of wearing vintage easily everyday, in a modern setting. Gorgeous chocolatey colour buttons they are, too.
Well, I hope you enjoy browsing these wonderful shops and found the ‘secret’ additions to be interesting! You can view the other items in my Modern Nostalgic Etsy Treasury by going here (until some time on Monday). Or you can go back and read yesterday’s post, which was the first part of this double-bill. 🙂
Until next time…
